General Motors Corporation KIA was instrumental in the implementation of GM's Common Process culture change model. KIA has also provided several consulting and training services. PROGRAMS/SERVICES: Consulting on the Common Process Model Training of all Salaried Employees Developing the Business Case (division specific) Action Planning Honeywell Honeywell has an excellent template for a strategic direction forward. KIA provided resources and programs to assist in their implementation process. Beyond the SBU managerial grounding sessions, KIA designed a template to be used as an orientation session for the local diversity councils. In addition, work was done with the divisional Working Council on identifying competencies and education/training focus. PROGRAMS/SERVICES: Consulting on a Strategic Plan for Diversity Diversity Council Orientation Managerial Grounding and Skills Building Sessions Employee-wide Grounding and Skills Building Sessions Eastman Kodak Corporation (EKC) KIA, Inc. provided a wide range of services to EKC. Over 16,000 of their employees have attended the grounding sessions. In addition, KIA worked with 85% of all of their leadership teams in the manufacturing area to assist in developing action plans. Two large divisions (Sales and Marketing and Manufacturing, Research and Engineering) have utilized KIA for their diversity cultural audits. PROGRAMS/SERVICES: Strategic Planning Diversity Council Structure and Process Plan One and Two Day Grounding Sessions Division Leadership Education/Action Planning Sessions Cultural Audits Action Planning Skill Building Customized Sessions for Managers/Supervisors and Group Leaders Bank One Bank One has an ambitious one-year leadership development program as part of its culture change efforts. Senior to mid-managers are engaged over a 12 month period in a series of education, assessment and skill building sessions. KIA provided and delivered the content area for Unit 2: Leading in a Diverse Environment. In addition, a four-hour module on personal awareness for entry and line employees was successfully developed and delivered. PROGRAMS/SERVICES: Leadership Development Education Train the Trainer for selected modules Hewlett Packard Working through the HP Americas' Training Organization, KIA was responsible for delivering a one-day grounding session. The session which is basically a blend of Diversity Concepts (tailored to HP) and When Differences Make A Difference is being utilized by their technical sales and service organizations. Many of these units had international teams who attended the training. KIA also provided a grounding session for 300 of Tests and Measurements' top international sales managers. PROGRAMS/SERVICES: One Day Grounding Session Four Hour Grounding Session to International Managers County Of San Diego KIA, in partnership with the County Leadership Team, created the overall strategic plan for diversity utilizing the 5-S Systems Model. County executives first prepared themselves for he scope of work required. A County-wide assessment team worked for seven months to do a culture scan. Then the Action Planning Team took the findings and crafted recommendations. The Executive Team is currently in the implementation step utilizing the recommendations provided by the Action Planning Team.
